DC WELCOMES NEW FRIDAY NIGHT

New Supper Club to Open this February

Washington, D.C. – Tuscana West announces Era Bella—an entirely new dining concept opening this February at Tuscana West on Friday nights. The first of its kind, Era Bella will become home to live entertainment by Trio Caliente, with dancing, late night Italian tapas and a designer drink menu served until 2:30 AM, providing a late night alternative to the nightclubs of Washington DC. Era Bella, loosely translated from Italian meaning “Beautiful Era,” will be a fresh addition to the city’s dining and nightlife scene. Era Bella at Tuscana West is conveniently located between 13th and 14th streets on I, just half a block from the McPherson Square metro and a short walk from many of the city’s major landmarks, including the White House and the National Mall.



Highlighting the evening is the D.C. based group, Trio Caliente. Their inimitable sounds of gypsy rumba, Latin jazz, flamenco pop, bossa and salsa have entertained such political luminaries as former President Bill Clinton, Supreme Court Justice Sonia Sotomayor, Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice and Senators John Kerry and Bob Dole. Their sounds have been enjoyed by notable Fortune 500 Companies and venerated international organizations, festivals and concert venues around the world. Reminiscent of The Gipsy Kings, Buena Vista Social Club and Jobim, Trio Caliente will provide sultry rhythms to accompany supper and dancing through the night.



Era Bella’s menu will feature small plates and shared tapas from the Mediterranean, with a large focus on Italian tapas (known as cicheti (pronounced chee - ke - tee))--reinventing traditional Italian classics by incorporating fresh, organic and local ingredients into small plates for late night dining. The artisanal cocktail selection features seasonal, handcrafted drinks using specialty liquors and tinctures. A selection of craft bottled beers and a comprehensive Italian wine list round out the beverage menus.


Era Bella will blend the traditional décor of Tuscana West with lively elements, providing a sultry and intimate atmosphere. Focal points of the restaurant include the expansive 55-seat bar, free standing stone pizza oven, and open kitchen and dance floor with LED lighting. Additionally, Era Bella offers table seating for up to 200 guests.
