TC says: I have my folks from The Nations Sexiest Magazine coming out to host one of their photo shoots LIVE at the event, so ladies and fellas if you have a slick bike, be sure to come on out!! Spring/Summer and Motorcycles go hand in hand, so tell all your biker friends that the spot to be on Thursday April 30th is at the Waldorf Wow Wingery!!

We have drink specials for our Late Night Nappy Hour, a live performance by "The Firm" band, and the first 50 ladies will recieve FREE gift bags!

We will also have boxes there to collect donations for the Lupus Foundation of America, so if you have any old clothes that you want to donate, please bring them!!

Paint the Town Pink Launch Party
~A benefit for Dress For Success~

The Paint the Town Pink launch party is being held to celebrate the new Divas in the City super community website as well as benefit and raise awareness for Dress for Success -an international not-for-profit organization offering services designed to help disadvantaged women find jobs and remain employed. This Pink Carpet charity event will allow women and men to enjoy an evening of live entertainment, cocktails, and delicious hors d’oeuvres all while helping Dress for Success.

The Paint the Town Pink launch party will be held on Friday, March 20, 2009 from 6:30 – 10pm and hosted by media personality extraordinaire, Déjà vu of Power 105.1 FM in New York City.

LATINA Style Magazine to host 5th annual National LATINA Symposium.

National LATINA Symposium to celebrate Latina achievement in the United States Washington, D.C. – August 11, 2008 – LATINA Style, the premier magazine addressing the needs of professional Latinas in the U.S will host the 5th annual National LATINA Symposium on September 5, 2008 at the Capital Hilton in Washington D.C. The Symposium will provide a national platform for Latina leaders to address the status of the Hispanic woman in the United States.

The Honorable Congresswoman Ileana Ros-Lehtinen [R-FL] is the chair for this year’s symposium. Open to the public and attended by Latina leaders from corporate America, the government and military, the Symposium will feature panels and workshops designed to unite and empower Latinas. This year LATINA Style will further expand the Symposium by producing a groundbreaking panel designed to address issues unique to Latinas in the military.

The Symposium will conclude with the Distinguished Service Awards Luncheon, which LATINA Style co-hosts with the Department of Defense. At the luncheon 14 award recipients, representing all branches of the Armed Forces will be honored for their excellence in service.

The evening of the National LATINA Symposium, LATINA Style will host the Anna Maria Arias Memorial Business Fund Gala. This program, created in memory of LATINA Style Founder Anna Maria Arias, will award grants to 10 Latina entrepreneurs from across the nation, who have demonstrated excellence in entrepreneurship. LATINA Style would like to thank their sponsors State Farm, The U.S. Navy, the Hershey’s Company, United Healthcare/AARP and the Department of Defense for making the 5th Annual National LATINA Symposium possible.
